In what way does each filter contribute to the clean and hygienic air?

Pre-filter

The pre-filter is responsible for removing particles, contaminations larger than 5 micron (5 micron = 0,005000000 mm), such as hair, animal hair, dust. Not all air purifiers are equipped with pre-filter, despite the fact that it takes off pressure from the whole system and greatly enchances the lifetime of the HEPA filter. For the best efficiency, it is recommended to clean it every week or every other week.

Honeycomb Activated Carbon filter

The honeycomb activated carbon filter draws the flying contaminations to itself and binds them on its surface. It neutralizes particles like the volatile organic compounds (VOC), the airborne chemicals and molecules that are responsible for unpleasant odors.
